  • Proven ability to manage relationships with senior executives, investors, and analysts
  • Articulate and analytical professional leader capable of providing work direction and developing talent, including managing one or more people
  • Ability to make significant individual contributions while strategically leveraging the broader organization
  • In-depth understanding of the company’s activities, strategies, competitive landscape, financial reporting, and financial disclosure regulations (or capacity to quickly develop it)
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships, work effectively with others, and think strategically, globally, and creatively
  • Ability to think and act quickly under high-pressure, time-sensitive situations and make clear, rational, compliant decisions in a dynamic environment
  • Capability to interact regularly with all levels of management and earn respect and trust of senior leadership through demonstrated performance

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a company spokesperson with institutional investors and equity research analysts, participating in investor meetings (in-person and virtual), roadshows, financial conferences, trade shows, and responding to inbound questions
  • Develop overarching enterprise-level investor messaging and financial branding to ensure a clear and compelling narrative for the company with the investment community
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IR outreach strategy, including directing the planning and execution of investor events and meetings based on shareholder targeting, catalysts, and sellside and shareholder dynamics
  • Implement and track KPIs to inform future efforts
  • Lead the development and execution of the global investor relations strategy related to investor and analyst engagement and communications
  • Act as an interface between Medtronic and the investment community, communicating the company’s vision, strategy, and financial performance to institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders
  • Oversee the company’s overarching investor messaging and financial branding
  • Manage investor outreach events and meetings
  • Coordinate with internal teams and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
  • Shape Medtronic’s narrative and strengthen relationships with the investment community
