Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 15 years of overall experience in board and system design development, and at least 8 years of technical design management experience. They should have experience in development within a mass production environment, familiarity with data center elements, and a background with optics technology, Ethernet networks, and new PCB, power, and ASIC technologies.

Responsibilities

The Director, Hardware Architecture will lead and manage the hardware next-generation end-to-end definition and architecture team, including switch, interconnect, and adapter components, shaping the technology roadmap and strategy. They will drive the vision for the hardware team, identify needs and challenges, facilitate communication with leadership teams and customers, define key technical aspects, coordinate alignment between hardware systems and chip design teams, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable new technologies and products. Furthermore, they will be a hands-on leader, capable of independently driving new technology initiatives from concept to completion.
