Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree in political science, public policy, public health, or an MBA being preferable; a legal degree is considered a plus. Responsibilities

The Director, Government Affairs - Canada will establish and maintain relationships with key government officials and stakeholders, stay apprised of policy developments impacting Abbott’s business, develop plans to influence legislation and agency actions, increase management understanding of the policy-making process, collaborate with business units, and deliver strong messaging to support Abbott’s positions, while also participating in or leading projects to maximize team effectiveness.
