Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary EHS liaison to GPS business units (GBU, CTO & PD) and site network, translating corporate EHS goals into actionable plans tailored to manufacturing sites
  • Build strong working relationships with EHS, BU, site, and functional leaders; provide expert advice on EHS risks, performance metrics, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities; represent BU and site views in EHS strategy discussions
  • Provide EHS leadership across assigned areas, partnering with the business to ensure comprehensive EHS support, robust risk management systems, compliance, continuous improvement, and a culture of safety
  • Assist sites in meeting internal EHS performance targets and external regulatory obligations; support deployment of global EHS programs, standards, and tools at site level; facilitate cross-site collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on EHS performance data, audit results, and leading indicators across manufacturing sites to identify trends, gaps, and intervention areas to reduce incidents and environmental impact
  • Support sites in understanding and complying with applicable EHS regulations and company standards
  • Engage and influence colleagues at all levels to promote a proactive safety culture; foster awareness, training, and engagement; lead safety training and communication efforts as required
  • Provide coaching and support the development of EHS colleagues
