Requirements

  • Competency in directing strategic plans, quality goals, and action plans aligned with regional, divisional, and company objectives
  • Knowledge of profit and loss management, budgeting, and key performance indicators for program operations
  • Expertise in all aspects of patient care for Home Therapies patients with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), from admission to discharge
  • Skills in assessing patient/caregiver readiness, home environment suitability, and training on dialysis equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ability to ensure staff competency in home dialysis equipment operation, troubleshooting, licensures, and CPR certifications
  • Proficiency in managing supplies, equipment tracking, and inventory replenishment
  • Experience with Continuous Quality Assurance Improvement, patient retention, clinical algorithms, access management, and training success
  • Capability to oversee data entry for patient admission, regulatory reporting, billing, physician orders, lab results, vital signs, and treatment data
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, audits, and risk management initiatives
  • Leadership skills for hiring, coaching, counseling, performance reviews, disciplinary action, terminations, and employee development
  • Ability to work in a health care facility environment with air temperature control

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations of multiple Home Therapies programs, including growth, patient retention, program costs, operational methods, scheduling, and staffing
  • Direct activities related to strategic plans, goals, and objectives, ensuring alignment with region, division, and company
  • Implement quality goals and action plans to achieve quality standards
  • Collaborate with operations leaders, market development, in-center leadership, and patient education/quality teams to promote home therapies growth
  • Manage profit and loss for assigned programs to achieve or exceed budgets and key performance indicators
  • Direct and manage all aspects of patient care for Home Therapies patients from admission through discharge
  • Provide direction, guidance, and support to staff for safe and effective home therapy care delivery to ESRD patients
  • Oversee patient and caregiver readiness, home environment assessment, and training on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Manage patient experience efforts, support satisfaction initiatives, and embody company values
  • Ensure staff competency in home dialysis equipment, troubleshooting via telephone, licensures, and CPR certifications
  • Manage program supplies, equipment tracking, and timely replenishment of orders
  • Direct Continuous Quality Assurance Improvement, patient retention, Clinical Algorithm Adoption, patient access management, and training success
  • Oversee data entry activities such as patient admission, regulatory reporting, billing, physician orders, lab results, vital signs, and treatment data
  • Ensure regulatory, compliance, and audit activities are completed on time
  • Orient and support new home therapies staff, provide ongoing education, and ensure compliance with risk management
  • Hire, coach, counsel employees, conduct performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for direct reports, partnering with HR
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, potentially including department or location-specific functions
