Requirements

At least 5-8 years of DevOps experience
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster management and operations
Proven ability to build and implement Kubernetes deployments and Helm charts
Solid understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with observability tools, particularly DataDog
Understanding of GitOps principles and basic SRE concepts
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
Strong Ansible automation and configuration management skills
Strong Linux system administration fundamentals
Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPNs, HTTP(S))
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology or similar qualification

Responsibilities

Converting current application deployments to Kubernetes-native solutions
Developing and implementing Helm charts for containerized applications
Maintaining and modernizing existing Ansible infrastructure during the transition
Implementing and managing observability solutions using DataDog, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and alerting across infrastructure
Applying GitOps principles for infrastructure and application deployment
Following SRE standard processes to maintain system reliability and optimize performance
Advising development teams on containerization requirements and Kubernetes standards
Collaborating across multiple teams and time zones globally
