The Opportunity

As a DevOps Instructor, you will be instrumental in delivering our technical content for the Level 4 DevOps apprenticeship program. Your role will involve supporting apprentices in deepening their understanding of implementing continuous integration, continuous delivery, and robust infrastructure solutions through engaging workshops and drop-in sessions. You will guide apprentices in developing the necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors (KSBs) throughout their program.

The Multiverse delivery team is a dynamic group of industry experts, educators, and academics dedicated to shaping the future of work. You will be an integral part of this team, reporting to a Delivery Lead who will support your professional development.

Onboarding and Preparation

To ensure a successful start, you will complete a comprehensive 3-week onboarding program covering:

• Modern Teaching Methodologies: Learn to deliver hands-on, engaging learning experiences.
• Technical Upskilling: Align your knowledge with the relevant apprenticeship standards.
• Practical Coaching Opportunities: Benefit from a rigorous feedback process to prepare you for program delivery.

Upon completion of onboarding, you will be equipped to support Multiverse apprentices, fostering their technical expertise and industry-relevant skills in DevOps principles and practices, ultimately driving business impact.

Responsibilities

• Confidently facilitate delivery sessions of technical learning content, ensuring objectives are met within allocated timeframes.
• Adhere to the Coach Quality framework to maintain consistent quality across all sessions and apprentice experiences.
• Cultivate a vibrant, inclusive, and motivating learning environment that enhances apprentice engagement and satisfaction.
• Moderate assignments according to mark schemes, providing constructive feedback and feed-forward to facilitate continuous development of technical and durable skills.
• Maintain an owner's mentality, proactively taking action, sharing feedback, and providing support to ensure learner progress and success.
• Regularly liaise with coaches to align on apprentice interventions for successful program completion.
• Coordinate with cohort coaches and operations team members to ensure alignment on apprentice development and progress.
• Utilize provided Multiverse resources and learning opportunities to stay updated on knowledge, learning, and product updates, ensuring you are well-equipped to support apprentices.
• Build and maintain credibility with apprentices by leveraging professional experience, program/domain/industry knowledge, and client context in all interactions.
• Create and communicate a compelling narrative about Multiverse, its mission, and its offerings, helping apprentices connect with the company's vision throughout and beyond their apprenticeship.
