Requirements

  • Passion for identifying and solving problems on distributed environments scaling across configuration, Linux Operating System, and network
  • Hands-on experience handling distributed environments (Kubernetes experience or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification is a big plus)

Responsibilities

  • Be a key member of a team of dedicated DevOps/SREs responsible for software engineering and operations, with an emphasis on reducing operational toil
  • Develop and launch effective SLIs to ensure SLOs are achieved through building an extendable Observability architecture, runbook automation, and establishing new processes
  • Partner with platform service teams to craft and implement SRE standards for their services, define benchmarks, and create automation to qualify services for production environments
  • Ensure the reliability and availability of the cloud native platform to meet SLAs, reduce operational load, and scale sustainably
  • Participate in automation and improvements planned via scrum practices with two-week sprints in an autonomous team with follow-the-sun on-call
  • Responsible for safe change and reliability of customer environments using SLO-gated multi-stage deployment automation to improve platform reliability, observability, and customer satisfaction
