Requirements

  • At least 6+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer, with contributions to software development
  • Java programming experience (a must)
  • AWS experience
  • Terraform expertise
  • CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Containers expertise (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, HTML, React JS
  • Proficiency with Linux commands and utilities including Bash scripting
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated issues
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work well with developers, stakeholders, and users
  • Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends

Responsibilities

  • Develop infrastructure and software solutions in accordance with standards and practices
  • Work with architects to capture requirements and develop solutions for new projects
  • Streamline and automate IT Operations & Processes
  • Work with engineering teams to invent development processes for new projects
  • Identify, prescribe solutions and implement remediation as needed by InfoSec findings
  • Serve as knowledge resource for advice and mentorship on technical issues, both internally to the DevOps team and externally to other engineering teams
  • Maintain infrastructure, repair bugs, and respond to downtime in accordance with business continuity plan
  • Provide support for software engineering teams
  • Conduct all business in accordance with policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Primary focus: monitoring, answering support calls and providing resolution to production issues for applications during US night hours
  • Secondary responsibility: contribute to the development and infrastructural improvements of covered applications
  • Facilitate teamwork between software development and IT operations teams to streamline software delivery and infrastructure changes
