Requirements

Major:

• 4 to 7 years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• Extensive experience with Linux
• Extensive experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Experience with Self-hosted Kubernetes clusters administration
• GCP or AWS cloud experience
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling
• Experience with Python / Bash scripting

Moderate:

• Experience with observability tools
• Experience with CI/CD

Soft Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Manage Kubernetes clusters (self-hosted or cloud-based)
• Implement and maintain infrastructure in the cloud
• Manage Linux servers, web servers, and application servers
• Configuration management (puppet, ansible)
• Manage Infrastructure as a code (terraform/terragrunt)
• Troubleshooting

Education & Certifications

IT professional certifications are not required, but will be a plus.

• Kubernetes: CKA, CKS
• Cloud: Google Cloud Platform or AWS
• HashiCorp: Terraform Associate, Vault Associate
• Linux: LFCS, LFCE, RHCSA, RHCE
• Configuration Management: Puppet or Ansible certifications
