Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or related software engineering roles
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working with public cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS, GCP
Developing in, and building and deploying containers to production
Experience with a modern orchestration and scheduling system such as Kubernetes
Proficiency in relational and document databases (MySQL, Postgres, Cosmos DB, MongoDB)
Building software in at least one programming language
Designing and implementing tools to automate customer needs like CI/CD or deploying a new application
Collaborating with Software Engineers to improve engineering quality and accelerate development

Responsibilities

Develop platforms that enable application engineers to efficiently deliver tech solutions for business problems
Build well-designed systems that can scale and adapt to fill new requirements
Achieve operational excellence in the team's development lifecycle
Ensure integration and unit test coverage that gives complete confidence to ship changes
Create automation and documentation to empower developers instead of dependency on DevOps

Provide customer support
Participate in systems, tools, and processes to support correctness, improve operations, adopt scalable system designs, manage costs, and improve engineering productivity
