Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or similar (or equivalent years of industry experience)
Programming skills in C#/.NET
Proficiency with SQL Server or similar RDBMS, including writing complex SQL queries, designing and optimizing schemas, and creating/indexing tables
Experience with a public cloud computing environment (especially AWS)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment
An ethic of service and a belief in putting the customer first
Expertise in engineering methodologies, concepts, and skills in the specified engineering specialty
Expertise in process design and redesign skills
Ability to present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal audiences
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary

Responsibilities

Plan and design new software and web applications
Analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications
Oversee the documentation of all development activity
Train non-technical personnel
Assist with tracking performance metrics
Integrate knowledge of business and functional priorities
Act as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment
Lead teams or projects and share expertise
Write quality software based on designs and specifications
Implement automated unit and integration tests to confirm correctness and prevent issues
Participate in and lead code reviews
Implement appropriate instrumentation and monitoring
Provide user-friendly documentation
Understand and apply Operating Principles
Own the customer experience and put customers first
