Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering
4+ years related experience
Key skills: Golang developer, Docker and Kubernetes, any database (e.g., Postgres or Mongo/document DB)
Experience developing new software using modern languages like GoLang with database experience
Experience with application development, especially microservices
Familiar with running applications at scale in the cloud, especially AWS
Familiar with test-driven design and development
Experience working with onsite and offshore teams
Familiar with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Familiar with the 12 factor app rules
Experience with AWS (a plus), AWS Certification (a plus)

Responsibilities

Planning, designing, and developing new software and web applications to scale
Developing new software using modern software languages like GoLang with database experience
Analyzing, testing, and assisting with the integration of new applications
Running applications at scale in the cloud, especially AWS
Overseeing the documentation of all development activity
Integrating knowledge of business and functional priorities
Acting as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment
Working with interacting multiple teams or projects and sharing expertise
Assisting with training non-technical personnel
Determining own work priorities and acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Understanding Operating Principles, owning customer experience, knowing products/services, winning as a team, participating in Net Promoter System, driving results, promoting inclusion & diversity
