Candidates must be native or fluent Chinese speakers with strong English communication skills. A minimum of 5 years of experience in blockchain, developer relations, technical evangelism, or related engineering roles is required, along with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Zero-Knowledge proofs or adjacent privacy technologies like TEE, MPC, and FHE. The role also requires the ability to produce technical content, hands-on development experience in languages such as Rust or Solidity, and experience engaging with developer communities through events or online channels. Willingness to travel across Asia for community and partner engagements is also necessary.
The Developer Relations Engineer will drive the adoption of Horizen across Chinese-speaking developer communities by organizing and representing the company at events and acting as the public face of the technology through talks and online engagement. They will provide hands-on support to developers and business partners for technology integration, assist grant program recipients, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve tooling and resources. Responsibilities also include translating and localizing technical documentation and educational resources into Chinese, producing tailored guides and video tutorials, and working with the BD team to support partners. Additionally, the role involves advocating for developer needs internally to influence product direction and building relationships with universities and blockchain clubs across Asia.
