Passionate and interested in the arts/larger creative arena or eager to learn
Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills
Interest in art and design as it applies to a commercial gallery
Basic working knowledge of Figma, Indesign, Photoshop, and After Effects
Resident of NY, NJ, or CT
Commitment to approximately 6 months (Winter/Spring internship from January through April, 10AM–5PM, 4 days a week)

Responsibilities

Assist with design-related tasks including exhibition invitations, ads, social assets, and production of bespoke projects
Handle day-to-day design requests from marketing, digital marketing, content, events, and social teams
Create bespoke designs for online and print applications
Produce templated digital and print ads, social assets, invitations, and newsletters
Adapt existing design systems to various formats
Develop design directions
Conduct visual research
Organize assets
Work with type, grids, layout, and sequence
Prep/export assets for print and online
