High School diploma or GED
Easily able to learn technologies and systems required and demonstrates a desire to learn
Applicable state licensing: For NJ/MD - Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) license or willingness to pursue immediately; For PA - Radiation Health and Safety certificate or willingness to pursue immediately
X-ray License
Certified Dental Assistant (preferred)
1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed
Knowledge of dental instruments and patient care
Ability to clearly communicate medical information to professional practitioners and/or the general public

Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments and assist the dentist chairside in rendering patient care
Maintain inventory control in operatories
Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines
Deliver patient interactions related to scheduling, follow-up treatment, post-surgical information, and record keeping
Perform basic lab procedures such as taking impressions, pouring models, and preparing cases for external labs
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
