  • Proven experience in Supply Chain, with strong exposure to capacity and production planning processes

Responsibilities

  • Manage contracted supplier capacity across GM South America, ensuring alignment with production forecasts and DSB decisions
  • Monitor mix changes and volume fluctuations; conduct scenario analysis using advanced analytics tools
  • Support commercial negotiations and resolve issues impacting supply capacity
  • Develop and implement strategic action plans for critical supplier situations
  • Design and implement automated dashboards and reports using BI tools and Python scripts
  • Develop predictive models and algorithms to anticipate capacity risks and optimize supply-demand balancing
  • Apply data manipulation and visualization techniques to improve decision-making speed and accuracy
  • Interface with Purchasing, PPM, Engineering, Supply Chain to ensure integrated planning and execution
  • Prepare engineering documentation detailing daily volumes and vehicle lifecycle
  • Conduct training sessions for buyers on supplier capacity management and digital tools
  • Proactively identify and mitigate issues related to contracted capacity vs. EDI and plant production capacity
  • Recommend process optimization initiatives leveraging automation and advanced analytics
