Ability to slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products including meats and cheeses

Ability to operate and handle deli equipment in accordance with safety policies
Capacity to lift and move deli products and maintain physical demands of stocking and cleaning

Responsibilities
Provides a high level of customer service to Members, answers questions, recommends deli items, takes special orders, and assists with product selection and sampling
Slices, packages, weighs, and prepares deli products including cheeses, meats, special orders, and party trays
Receives, inspects, displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli shipments following food safety and quality standards
Ensures all products are fresh, checks for out-of-date products daily, and follows product salvage policies
Stocks and rotates deli items to maintain a wide variety in cooler shelves and display cases
Operates deli equipment safely, including scales, rotisserie ovens, and cooking utensils
Cleans and sanitizes deli equipment, food surfaces, refrigerated cases, and the deli cooler throughout the department
Maintains presentation, cleanliness, and organization of the deli department, including display cases
Supports club policies, procedures, compliance, GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate), and club standards for stocking, signage, and freshness
Ensures a safe, positive, inclusive environment, resolves member concerns, and works collaboratively as a team
