Responsibilities
Provide high level of customer service to Members, answer questions, recommend deli items, handle calls, and take special orders
Slice, package, weigh deli products (cheeses, meats), help Members select products, sample products, prepare and package special orders and party trays
Receive and inspect deli shipments; display, stock, rotate, and store products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies
Ensure all products are fresh and meet quality standards; check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage policies
Stock and rotate deli items to ensure wide variety in cooler shelves and display cases
Operate and handle deli equipment per safety policies
Clean and sanitize deli equipment, food surfaces, rotisserie ovens, utensils, refrigerated cases, and deli cooler throughout the department
Ensure scale systems are maintained (inferred from context)
Maintain presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including display cases
Support flawless execution, act with honesty and integrity, lead with member in mind, escalate concerns, ensure safe and positive environment, deliver service excellence, resolve member concerns, and achieve GOLD club standards daily
