Requirements

Ability to slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products including meats and cheeses
Knowledge of food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures
Capability to maintain presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including display cases
Understanding of club policies, procedures, and compliance
Ability to provide high level of customer service, answer questions, recommend products, and handle special orders
Skills to receive, inspect, display, stock, rotate, and store deli shipments
Commitment to ensuring products are fresh, meet quality standards, and checking for out-of-date products

Responsibilities

Provide high level of customer service to Members, answer questions, recommend deli items, answer calls, and take special orders
Slice, package, weigh deli products including cheeses and meats; help Members select products; sample products; prepare and package special orders and party trays
Receive and inspect deli shipments; display, stock, rotate, and store deli products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies
Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards; check for out-of-date products daily and follow appropriate procedures
Maintain presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including display cases
Carry out job functions as assigned, support club policies, and ensure safe, positive environment
Deliver service excellence, resolve member concerns, adhere to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate), and maintain club standards (fast, friendly, full, fresh, clean)
Work as a team, embrace inclusion and diversity, act with honesty and integrity, and innovate/adapt as needed
