Requirements
- Ability to slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products including meats and cheeses
- Knowledge of food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures
- Ability to operate and handle deli equipment in accordance with safety policies and procedures
- Capacity to lift and move deli products and maintain cleanliness of display cases and equipment
- Commitment to customer service, including answering questions, recommending items, and taking special orders
- Understanding of club policies, procedures, compliance, and GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate)

Responsibilities
- Provides high level of customer service to Members, answers questions, recommends deli items, answers calls, and takes special orders
- Slices, packages, weighs deli products including cheeses and meats; helps Members select products and samples them
- Prepares and packages special orders and party trays
- Receives and inspects deli shipments; displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli products following policies
- Ensures all products are fresh, meet quality standards; checks for out-of-date products daily and follows salvage procedures
- Stocks and rotates deli items to maintain variety in cooler shelves and display cases
- Operates deli equipment safely; cleans and sanitizes equipment, food surfaces, rotisserie ovens, utensils, cases, and cooler throughout the department
- Ensures scale systems are maintained (implied from description)
- Maintains presentation, cleanliness, and organization of the deli department
- Supports team execution of club standards, including stocking, promotional plans, signage, and Grand Opening Look daily
