About DataCamp

DataCamp's mission is to empower everyone with the data and AI skills essential for 21st-century success. By providing practical, engaging learning experiences, DataCamp equips learners and organizations of all sizes to harness the power of data and AI. As a trusted partner to over 17 million learners and 6,000+ companies, including 80% of the Fortune 1000, DataCamp is leading the charge in addressing the critical data and AI skills shortage.

About the Role

This is a critical role in our company's growth strategy, straddling the line between marketing, teaching, and thought leadership. You will be responsible for initiatives ranging from thought leadership webinars to technical code-alongs and SEO-driven blog posts. You will collaborate closely with a team of marketers, data evangelists, SEO experts, and the broader DataCamp team to craft compelling content experiences for our audiences. Through these efforts, you will help amplify and share free and valuable educational content for DataCamp’s audience of learners, data practitioners, and data leaders.

This is an individual contributor role. While responsibilities will be tailored based on your specific strengths, typical duties include:

  • Working with external stakeholders (data influencers, leaders, authors) on webinars, code-alongs, and/or podcasts.
  • Building and maintaining a cadence of weekly webinars that drive value for DataCamp’s community of data and learning leaders.
  • Building and maintaining a cadence of weekly code-alongs that drive value for DataCamp’s community of data and learning leaders.
  • Creating and delivering detailed and thought-provoking thought leadership reports and white papers.
  • Managing the speakers, editorial direction, and distribution for DataCamp Radar, our quarterly conference series.
  • Creating blog posts, tutorials, and cheat sheets on data and AI-related topics.
  • Co-hosting the DataFramed podcast—our flagship podcast with more than 1 million yearly listens.
  • Representing DataCamp at industry conferences either as an attendee or a speaker.

About You

At DataCamp, we seek individuals who embody our core values of data-driven action, transparency, ownership, and customer focus. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment and are driven by a passion for democratizing the adoption of data and AI. Your entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit will push you beyond just meeting/exceeding retention and expansion targets. You aim to understand the strategic imperatives at DataCamp’s clients and strive to be a thought partner in transforming their data and AI readiness.

You are a collaborative team player who is equally happy to work internally with sales, product, support, and marketing as you are to roll up your sleeves and strategize with clients. You subscribe to the belief that people, process, technology, and data are all key ingredients to digitally transforming a business and you are energized by helping our clients up-level their data readiness at scale. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!

Qualifications

  • Advanced programming skills in either Python or R.
  • Deep knowledge in data science, analytics, business intelligence, and/or AI—you are able to show demonstrable knowledge and experience in one of these spaces.
  • An extraverted personality with a passion for public speaking, podcasting, and writing, with a proven track record in these activities.
  • High degrees of urgency and organizational skills; you care about delivering the best possible experience for our audience.
  • High degrees of relationship management skills; you are able to foster deep and thoughtful relationships within the data community and are not afraid to hustle for engagement.
