Responsibilities
Provide operational support for database technology, including engineering, administration, and operations of OLTP, OLAP, data warehousing platforms, and distributed No-SQL systems
Collaborate with infrastructure teams, application developers, and business teams across time zones to deliver high-quality service to Aladdin users
Automate and develop database operational, monitoring, and maintenance toolsets to achieve scalability and efficiency
Manage database configuration, capacity and scale, schema releases, consistency, security, disaster recovery, and audit management
Assess issues for severity, troubleshoot proactively, ensure timely resolution of critical system issues, escalate outages when necessary, collaborate with Client Technical Services and other teams, and coordinate with external vendors
Participate in major upgrades and migration/consolidation exercises
Explore and implement new product features
Contribute to performance tuning and engineering activities
Contribute to the software toolset (e.g., enhancements)
