Requirements

  • 5+ years experience working with PostgreSQL, planning and provisioning database instances
  • Worked with database deployments in public clouds (preferably AWS and their RDS offering)
  • Understands database performance and current workloads
  • Good knowledge of connection management and how system resources are used on a database server
  • Familiar with and can suggest related tooling (including monitoring solutions)
  • Capable of tuning and configuring PostgreSQL (ideally within AWS)
