Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in database engineering, specifically with SQL Server. Strong SQL skills and experience with database design, optimization, and maintenance are essential. Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling techniques is also required.

Responsibilities

The Database Engineer will collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand user needs and design software solutions, design, implement, and maintain robust SQL Server database systems, develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views, participate in architectural and design discussions, monitor and optimize database performance, provide technical support and troubleshooting, and implement performance monitoring and alerting systems.
