Requirements

  • Ability to work closely with key account clients and stakeholders from Client Team and Data Science Team
  • Experience analyzing large amounts of data to derive insights on trends and opportunities
  • Proficiency in explaining methodologies, data irregularities, and statistical tools to clients
  • Skills in creating clear insights through visualizations or raw data analysis
  • Capability to engage and align multiple stakeholders on data requirements and study designs
  • Experience testing new methods, software, and workflows for productivity improvements
  • Understanding of client requirements and ability to translate them into intelligent insights using proprietary data
  • Willingness to contribute to best practices and share with data departments regionally

Responsibilities

  • Act as key contact point between data science and commercial teams, explaining retail products and methodologies
  • Support clients’ business needs while driving internal product enhancements
  • Analyze large datasets from NielsenIQ’s research to identify trends and opportunities for further study
  • Explain specific aspects of studies to clients and make data intelligible through simple, effective methodologies
  • Respond to client questions on data irregularities and NielsenIQ’s statistical tools
  • Create insights and examples (via visualizations or analysis) to explain why data behaves a certain way
  • Engage and align stakeholders on data requirements and designs for new studies
  • Test new methods, software, and workflows to improve productivity
  • Ensure client data requirements are met and satisfaction with retail analysis methodology
  • Conduct studies to update, improve, or create new data requirements for clients
  • Translate client requirements into insights using NielsenIQ’s data creatively
  • Contribute to best practices for the country/cluster/region and share with other data departments
  • Provide active inputs to improve products through engagement with the Data Science team
