Requirements

The Data Scientist should have a background and experience in data/backend engineering, ideally in production environments with at least 3 years of experience (Mid/Senior Level role). They require proficiency in Python and its data science stack, along with experience in applied algorithmic research, specifically in information retrieval, text processing, computer vision (CV), computational linguistics (NLP) and machine learning. A track record of good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with people is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Data Scientist will be responsible for solving real-world problems using applied algorithmic research and Data Science practices, implementing functionality for internal and external customers, designing and building data sets, performing data cleaning, feature engineering and extraction, building predictive models, conducting experimentation, and producing reproducible research and code. They will also collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and other functions to deliver algorithmic solutions, conduct online and offline demonstrations, and build end-to-end machine learning pipelines.
