Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with relevant practical experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role is required, along with hands-on experience working with large datasets and prior experience with big data platforms like Databricks, Apache Spark, or Apache Hadoop. Expertise in at least one programming or data manipulation language, preferably Python and SQL, is necessary, as are strong data storytelling, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Data Scientist will conduct statistical analysis of user revenue growth programs and A/B experiments to identify actionable insights and biases. They will interpret results, simplifying and synthesizing them for partners using visualization and storytelling techniques. Responsibilities also include stitching and calibrating sparse and noisy semi-structured or unstructured data across various sources, and partnering with cross-functional experts to understand customer behavior and pain-points to recommend product and customer experience improvements.
