Requirements
Candidates should be working towards obtaining a Master’s degree in Data Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience, possessing a strong understanding of machine learning, artificial neural networks, and language models, and proficiency in writing object-oriented code in Python. Experience with PyTorch, SciPy, Jupyter Notebooks, and Hugging Face Transformers is required, along with comfort using the Unix command line and proven research skills to find reliable information and datasets.
Responsibilities
The Data Science Intern will be responsible for researching new types of data to add to the classifier, finding and preparing training data, assisting with data cleanup, tuning prompts for AI data generation, developing and analyzing benchmarks measuring accuracy, speed, and consistency of results, and finding new evaluation datasets for the classifier, running experiments, and analyzing results.
