Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data migration projects, with at least 3 years specific to Temenos Transact (T24)
  • In-depth knowledge of Temenos T24 data model, including core modules like AA, Customer, Accounts, Deposits, Loans, and Treasury
  • Strong experience with ETL tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SQL scripts, Python)
  • Hands-on experience with data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation in banking environments
  • Proven track record of leading data migration for large-scale core banking transformations
  • Familiarity with TAFC/TAFJ architecture and COB processes in Temenos
  • Expertise in data reconciliation, controls, and audit trails
  • Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong project management, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-hosted Temenos environments (SaaS, Azure, AWS)
  • Background in banking or financial services with understanding of regulatory data requirements
  • Experience with automation of migration validation and reconciliation
  • Knowledge of Agile/DevOps practices migration delivery
  • Temenos certifications in Data Migration or Transact preferred

Responsibilities

  • Co-create the data migration strategy definition for Temenos Transact implementation with the bank, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance requirements, and technology standards
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, legacy system experts, Temenos consultants, and technical teams to understand source systems, target T24 architecture, and data structures
  • Lead the design of the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, transformation, and reconciliation
  • Manage and execute multiple data migration cycles (trial runs, dress rehearsals, and production cutover), ensuring minimal risk and business disruption
  • Establish data quality management frameworks and work with business users to define data validation rules
  • Oversee the development of migration scripts, reconciliation reports, and audit logs
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, local banking regulations)
  • Define and manage the data migration test strategy, including migration testing, reconciliation, and business sign-off
  • Coordinate with Temenos, third-party vendors, and internal IT teams to resolve data-related issues
  • Provide status reporting, risk assessments, and go/no-go recommendations for migration phases
