Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with expertise in Apache Airflow, Databricks, and PySpark for orchestration, scalable data processing, and transformation. They must have a deep understanding of distributed data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and query optimization for both relational and non-relational databases, and experience with cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data lake architectures. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for data engineering is also required, alongside excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.

Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and infrastructure, architecting scalable and efficient solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and storage, collaborating cross-functionally with Data Science, Analytics, and Product teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions, enhancing monitoring and observability of data processes, improving debugging, error detection, and system reliability, and driving best practices for code quality, testing, and software design in data engineering.
