Requirements

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of modern data engineering principles and methodologies. Proven experience in Snowflake administration, including query tuning, cost optimization, RBAC, and disaster recovery is required. Advanced skills in Python for building and managing data pipelines, and experience with Git for version control and collaborative development workflows are essential. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, PrivateLink, and VPC is necessary, along with familiarity with networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and SFTP. Experience with DBT Core/Cloud for data transformation and modeling, and proficiency in workflow tools like Prefect and Airflow are expected. The ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and clarify ambiguous requirements from non-technical stakeholders is crucial. Experience with lakehouse architectures, financial data, or private equity is a plus. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and experience using Jira for task management in Agile or Scrum environments are also required.
