We are expanding our Data Practice by adding Data Engineers, Senior Data Engineers, and Leaders in data ecosystems. These individuals will influence the direction of data modernization for our customers. The role involves working closely with clients to manage, transfer, manipulate, or integrate data to ensure exceptional business performance. You will be part of a tight-knit technical community, offering opportunities for continuous growth among top technical talent. Responsibilities

SDG’s Data Engineers have proven experience with the following:

• Design and development of relational and non-relational databases, data warehouses, and data lakes using databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
• Development, monitoring, and maintenance of data integration and processing tools and pipelines using tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Domo, dbt, or other related ETL tooling.
• Strong knowledge and experience using SQL, DDL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and SQL query optimization.
• Development utilizing languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience using messaging middleware such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MSMQ, IBM MQ, or other related technologies.
• Data analysis and visualization tools including tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, SSRS, Business Objects, or other related Analytics tools.
• Familiarity with security and security policies.
• Experience with Cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional data development experience.
• Experience delivering solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience with Public Cloud Providers such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with various ETL tools.
• Experience with Databricks is a bonus.
• Experience with DBT is a bonus.
• Prior consulting or professional services experience is a bonus.
• Bachelor's degree or certification in Computer Science, or the equivalent related work experience.
