Requirements

Candidates are required to possess 5+ years of professional data development experience, experience delivering solutions in large-scale enterprise environments, experience with Public Cloud Providers such as AWS and Microsoft Azure, experience with various ETL tools, experience with Databricks and DBT, prior consulting or professional services experience, and an education degree or certification in Computer Science or equivalent related work experience.

Responsibilities

The Data Engineer will design and develop relational and non-relational databases, data warehouses, and data lakes using databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle; develop, monitor, and maintain data integration and processing tools and pipelines using tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Domo, dbt, or other related ETL tooling; utilize SQL, DDL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and SQL query optimization; develop utilizing languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript or C#; experience using messaging middleware such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MSMQ and IBM MQ or other related technologies; perform data analysis and visualization using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, SSRS, Business Objects or other related Analytics tools; and familiarize themselves with security and security policies, as well as experience with Cloud based platforms such as AWS or Azure.
