Requirements

  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and fluently in English
  • Solid understanding of IT tools and environments, including Remote Desktop Protocol and the Microsoft Azure Portal
  • Working knowledge of SFTP server protocols and secure data transfer methods
  • Experience working with unstructured data and proficiency in handling XML and JSON file formats
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is considered a plus
  • Background in aviation or exposure to aviation-related data is highly desirable
  • A bachelor’s degree from college required; a degree in engineering is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work on customer onboarding processes by ingesting customer data into our analytic software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during customer onboarding
  • Collaborate closely with customers, helping them understand the architectural design and functionality of the software
  • Manage flight data and maintain reporting dashboards
  • Handle multiple projects across various data domains
  • Gather requirements, design, and implement scalable data pipelines to process and analyze large volumes of data
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle
  • Manage ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) frameworks and ensure the quality and timeliness of data ingestion and transformation jobs
  • Collaborate with the data analytics and visualization team to design dashboards, reports, and visualizations for stakeholders
  • Conduct exploratory, descriptive, and predictive data analyses, and generate visual summaries of data
  • Identify data quality issues proactively and drive reusability and extensibility of the overall data architecture
