Requirements

Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree and less than 5 years of technical experience in data management, modeling, and analysis. Intermediate skills in data transformation and extraction using T-SQL, PL-SQL, Spark SQL, or PySpark are required, along with intermediate experience in curating data for quality and fit-for-purpose use. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, some experience with big and complex datasets, and some experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) are necessary. Familiarity with developing Business Intelligence tools (Qlik, Power BI), troubleshooting reporting solutions, and a fundamental understanding of data modeling, automation, and scheduling are also essential. Preferred qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of experience in SQL scripting/ETL, developing BI tools, and working with cloud data platforms, as well as in-depth Excel proficiency, data mining experience, proficiency in healthcare data, and some experience in agile teams.

Responsibilities

The Data and Reporting Professional 2 will generate ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users by utilizing system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. This role involves integrating data from multiple sources to produce requested data elements and working with modern tools and technology in both development and administrative functions. The professional will also be responsible for troubleshooting and testing end-to-end reporting solutions and understanding the automation and scheduling of data and BI tool refreshes.
