Demonstrable interest in sustainability research and/or ESG
Prior knowledge/work experience in ESG data (especially Environmental pillar) is an advantage
Detail-oriented and numerically proficient, habituated to reading and comprehending documents
Willing to work in rotational shifts
Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment, following a flexible schedule to meet deadlines
Good reading, writing, and understanding of English language
Strong attention to detail and persistent approach to work
Experience in planning and executing work assignments to tight deadlines, working independently and as part of a diverse international team
0-2 years of experience in ESG secondary research preferred
Graduation/Post-Graduation: B.Com (H)/MCom/PGDM/MBA (any stream with Environment Science, Finance/Accountancy as major subject)
Well versed with web browsing and Microsoft Applications like MS Office Suite
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deliver with regards to stringent deadlines
Inquisitive and investigative nature
Positive attitude, strong interest in research, flair for writing
Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Python, or similar tools is an added advantage

Responsibilities

Develop environmental assessment and quantification methodologies for ESG analytics
Utilize internal and external public research sources (government/regulatory documents, stock exchanges, CSR reports, industry journals, analyst reports, information databases, internal tools) to collect, summarize, and synthesize meaningful information
Gain exposure to reports of covered industries and interact with global analysts to learn industry dynamics
Deliver and maintain accurate, complete, and timely data sets, considering global business interests and needs
Work with team and management on ESG data operations initiatives
Collect, standardize, and validate business relations, competitors, and products/services data from companies’ published reports
Deliver on predefined individual and team targets with quality and excellence
Work within parameters and with supervision to ensure quality and performance to set standards
Keep up to date with knowledge of content sets and build industry knowledge by understanding trends and reporting standards
Provide input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements
Work collaboratively with a diverse team across multiple locations to promote data collection best practices and ensure quality of deliverables
Troubleshoot problems or issues and provide support to the team
