Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree in a related field welcome
  • Minimum 2 years’ work experience in ESG or corporate sustainability (mandatory)
  • Prior experience in ESG data ratings and research (added advantage)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Skills to interpret documents like Articles, Bylaws, Prospectus, Annual reports, Sustainability reports, Codes of Conduct
  • Willing to work in rotational shifts
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment, following flexible schedule to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and persistent approach to work
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Good written and oral presentation skills
  • Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness
  • Agile mindset for collaboration and coordination
  • Good understanding of ESG concepts, research methodologies, and trends

Responsibilities

  • Process financial/ESG qualitative and quantitative data and apply it accurately to the database using CSA guidance
  • Collect, standardize, and validate data from various documents
  • Deliver on pre-defined individual and team targets with quality and efficiency
  • Engage with ESG analysts to understand challenges and suggest solutions
  • Keep updated on knowledge of content sets; build industry knowledge by understanding trends and reporting standards
  • Provide input and ideas for new collection methods and product improvements
  • Troubleshoot problems or issues and provide support to the team
  • Develop and maintain accurate, complete, and timely data sets considering global business interests
  • Support data set integrity and comprehensiveness using internal/external sources (government/regulatory documents, stock exchanges, CSR reports, industry journals, analyst reports, databases, internal tools) to collect, summarize, and synthesize information
