Responsibilities

  • Collect salable, high-quality milk from dairy cows
  • Measure and record milk weights
  • Collect required milk samples for analysis
  • Maintain stall beds
  • Flush alleys
  • Assist with moving cows to and from the parlor
  • Feed and care for newborn calves, including preparing and delivering nightly bottles
  • Monitor health and living conditions of calves
  • Weigh calves and collect data for research and herd management
  • Power wash and clean farm equipment
  • Scrape lots
  • Perform maintenance tasks to support overall farm operations
