Requirements

- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly

Responsibilities
- Collect salable, high-quality milk from dairy cows
- Measure and record milk weights
- Collect required milk samples for analysis
- Maintain stall beds
- Flush alleys
- Assist with moving cows to and from the parlor
- Feed and care for newborn calves, including preparing and delivering nightly bottles
- Monitor health and living conditions of calves
- Weigh calves and collect data for research and herd management
- Power wash and clean farm equipment
- Scrape lots
- Perform maintenance tasks to support overall farm operations

The pay is $17.88 per hour plus $1.00 for every hour worked on the 3rd shift.
What is the work schedule for this role?
This is a part-time position with less than 29.5 hours per week on the 3rd shift from Sunday through Saturday, 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM, including every other weekend and holiday coverage. Schedules are provided 2-4 weeks in advance.
