  • Experience with fast-paced work, physical labor, and flexibility for shift rotations (days, nights, weekends)
  • Internal certification for operation of a pallet jack, forklift, and Hi-Rise forklift
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, push, pull, squat, kneel, and lift/move up to 100 pounds repeatedly for 8+ hours
  • Normal dexterity of hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, and controls
  • Good vision and hearing to understand verbal instructions and detect equipment sounds/warnings
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures (-10°F to 85°F+), near moving mechanical apparatus, vibration, high traffic areas with forklifts, chemicals, dust, and loud noise

Responsibilities

  • Ensure integrity of physical count of in-house inventory via cycle counting and other assigned duties
  • Cycle count the warehouse a minimum of four times a year, including all pick and reserve slots for discrepancies and product/packaging integrity issues
  • Perform quality checks on date-sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items via interaction with merchandising
  • Perform recoup function
  • Research causes of weight variances, receiving/put-away/letdown issues, and damaged product in slots from warehouse moves
  • Proactively check FIFO (first-in-first-out) items for proper rotation
  • Verify reserves are properly recorded and verify count of each reserve pallet
  • Verify the put-away and transfer process performed by day and night personnel
  • Initiate and document product transfer from cooler to freezer
  • Review standard management reports and research causes of inventory shrink
  • Coordinate will-call orders when scheduled
  • Serve as Will-call Clerk on scheduled Saturdays
