Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices. Experience with cloud security technologies and infrastructure is highly desirable, along with knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity Engineer will collaborate directly with Workday development teams to assess and design security controls, embed secure-by-design and secure-by-default principles into technologies, critically assess system architecture, and suggest improvements and controls. They will also foster a positive security attitude among service teams, drive engagement with service teams and cross-organizational initiatives, and participate in threat modeling activities across the Workday development community.
