Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience (7.5 years specifically in Micro Focus LoadRunner)
  • Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner (must-have skill)
  • Sound knowledge of industry-leading performance testing tools: LoadRunner Enterprise, NeoLoad, JMeter
  • Proficiency with protocols: Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services, TruClient, Citrix, SAP-GUI, KAFKA, MQ
  • Good foundation in performance engineering concepts, including monitoring tools: DynaTrace, AppDynamics, New Relic (configure metrics, build dashboards)
  • Good understanding of JVM-related concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL queries
  • Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools
  • Ability to analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights
  • Familiarity with application architecture and design principles
  • 15 years full-time education

Responsibilities

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Collaborate and manage the team to perform
  • Be responsible for team decisions
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions
  • Provide solutions to problems for immediate team and across multiple teams
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities
  • Monitor project progress and implement adjustments to meet deadlines
  • Design complex scenarios to depict real-world user patterns
  • Understand application functionality, performance requirements, and SLAs
  • Identify test environment, test data, and access needs
  • Create profiling, test scripts, test plan; execute, troubleshoot, and perform performance tuning
  • Create monitoring profiles to acquire performance metrics for optimization
  • Analyze test results and identify discrepancies against SLAs
  • Publish performance analysis reports and conduct review sessions with stakeholders
  • Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
