Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) (Must have skill)
Strong experience with Ab Initio in enterprise-scale environments
Hands-on expertise with DBT for data modelling and transformation in cloud environments
Strong proficiency in AWS services relevant to ETL and data warehousing (e.g., Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift)
Strong proficiency in UNIX shell scripting, Python, and SQL for development, automation and orchestration
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and performance tuning
Familiarity with cloud architecture and deployment strategies (Good to have skill)
Experience in application development using modern programming languages (Good to have skill)
Strong understanding of application lifecycle management (Good to have skill)
Knowledge of database management and integration techniques (Good to have skill)

Responsibilities

Perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Actively participate/contribute in team discussions
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems
Assist in the documentation of application processes and workflows
Engage in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, ensuring timely resolution of issues and adherence to SLAs
Support data migration initiatives, including legacy system transitions and cloud enablement strategies
Maintain documentation and contribute to data governance and compliance efforts
Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
Collaborate with team members to understand project needs
Develop application features
Ensure applications function seamlessly within existing infrastructure
Engage in testing and troubleshooting to enhance application performance and user experience
Seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in application design and functionality
Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs
