Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience (2-4 years prior experience in a DevOps engineering role preferred)
15 years full-time education (BS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field)
Must have skills: Microsoft Azure DevOps
Strong knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, deployment pipelines, and best practices
Solid knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet), CI/CD principles and best practices
Experience with deployment scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
Experience with auto-scaling, Kubernetes clusters, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker Swarm)
Understanding of Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Willingness to work off-hours when necessary

Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation of an auto-scalable Kubernetes/Docker Swarm cluster using Terraform for infrastructure management
Create and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Implement continuous build tools and processes, ensuring smooth and efficient software releases
Develop and execute deployment scripts for health checks, alerts, and infrastructure provisioning
Oversee the configuration and management of application and infrastructure settings
Manage and configure Azure DevOps for optimal team collaboration and automation
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Config/Release and deployment processes
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software releases and deployments
Partner with Product and Scrum teams; contribute and exchange knowledge and skills to meet group needs and goals; participate in resolving issues
