Requirements

Custodian/Housekeeper float experience a must
Ability to work Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with rotating weekends/holidays (80 hours/2 weeks)
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, offices, nurses' stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, stairwells, and lobby areas
Participate in cleaning activities such as cleaning walls, ceilings, vents, lights, baseboards, windows/glass, and replacing light bulbs
Maintain clean/neat floor surfaces through dusting, buffing, scrubbing, strip/sealing, waxing, extracting, and vacuuming
Properly remove trash, recycling, and regulated medical waste, including pickup, boxing, shredding, and maintaining cleanliness of receptacles
Participate in relocation of office and general hospital furniture/equipment as necessary
Other duties as assigned
