  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0–2 years of maintenance or related experience (helpful)
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Strong interpersonal skills in working with a variety of cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Must be certified to operate a forklift or ability to obtain certification

Responsibilities

  • Maintain interior of building (office & plant) by sweeping and mopping floors, emptying waste containers
  • Be observant to detect any unusual conditions or cleaning necessary in the plant
  • Separate cardboard from waste and bail in hydraulic machines
  • Separate other recyclable items (i.e., metal, paper, plastics) and place in designated containers
  • Work with outside vendors to manage daily pick up of material
  • May do minor painting and material handling
  • Other duties as assigned
