Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant working experience
Experience in one or more of the following: instructional design, visual design, content development, graphics, instructional technology, and multimedia technology
Practical knowledge of learning technologies and a strong technical aptitude
Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design practices
Demonstrated ability with authoring, content management, AI, and multimedia tools (e.g., Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud). Work samples required
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute work in line with a defined project plan
Preferred: Advanced degree in instructional design, adult learning theory, or a related business field
Preferred: Organized and able to think, plan, prioritize, and implement multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred: Proficiency using a content management system and instructional design tools

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain instructionally sound course content across Workday applications and product areas, focusing on learn-independent and instructor-led content
Define course requirements, write learning objectives, and develop course materials (including eLearning media, graphics, manuals, and activities that support the course objectives) based on business needs and audience analysis
Achieve course schedule and quality goals that align with Workday standards and processes
Develop subject matter expertise in 1-2 Workday products within 6-9 months and identify connections and dependencies
