Candidates should possess at least 2 years of experience in a formal commercial kitchen environment, along with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and effective communication and patience. They must demonstrate an understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures, coupled with excellent attendance, punctuality, and flexibility. Furthermore, candidates are required to be able to work in environments with fluctuating temperatures and possess the ability to lift.
The Porter/Dishwasher will be responsible for washing, drying, and maintaining dishes, setting up plates and silverware for lunch service, cleaning and maintaining kitchen stations and equipment, supporting all staff, assisting with lunch service, receiving deliveries, stocking and organizing refrigerators and walk-in coolers, rotating and consolidating product, maintaining recycling and compost stations, and helping guests with requests. They will also be responsible for drink prep, maintaining dish areas and self-serve stations, and sorting and removing waste materials.
