The schedule is primarily days with night, weekend, and holiday on-call involvement, and flexible schedules are used to cover all shifts and weekends as hospital needs demand.
Candidates must be a graduate of a nursing program and anesthesia school, with preferred experience including two years of nursing, one year in adult acute cardiovascular care, and at least one year as a certified registered nurse anesthetist.
Required are Registered Nurse licensure in South Dakota or Nursing Compact, BLS certification prior to the end of orientation, ACLS within one year of employment, with current AANA certification preferred.
