Responsibilities

  • Build and operationalize credit fraud detection processes, establishing clear rules and guidelines for credit operations
  • Analyze credit applications daily to detect fraudulent documents (invoices, quotes, bank statements) and prevent financing scams and money laundering
  • Act as the main point of contact with our external operations partner, providing escalation support, training, and challenging their operational decisions
  • Collaborate with the Credit Risk team to challenge existing scoring rules and improve the balance between fraud prevention and customer experience
  • Handle edge cases autonomously, making quick decisions on whether to approve or reject credit applications based on fraud risk assessment
  • Develop documentation and processes to ensure credit fraud operations are scalable and efficient as Qonto grows
