Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in healthcare or working with/for health insurance plans and proven collaboration skills to partner cross-functionally across teams to solve complex issues. They must have experience developing, documenting, and optimizing new processes into easy-to-understand documentation and be proficient with operating and learning new tools/software such as Excel/GSheets, Salesforce, Zendesk, Airtable, and Certify. Experience enrolling providers with regional or national payers, familiarity with CAQH, NPPES, CMS, & NCQA requirements, and experience working in a fast-paced environment or with a Credentials Verification Organization are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist will play a critical role in shaping and scaling systems to support rapid growth by ensuring timely and accurate provider credentialing and enrollment. This involves scoping enrollment requirements for new payer implementations, submitting applications, and guiding providers through the process. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new payer launches, share operational insights, and help educate and support credentialing and enrollment associates on new processes and payers.
